In order to launch your Stylehub store on your own domain, you need to set up our IP addresses in your domain's DNS records.
You can do that on the control panel of your domain registrar or you can contact them to ask for these modifications.
Email template
If you're not familiar with the DNS settings, you can simply copy & paste the following email template to your domain registrar / DNS provider, in most cases they will set it up for you or they will guide you through the process. Please, replace EXAMPLE.COM with your domain name (lowercase).
Dear Provider,
Please, apply the following changes in my DNS records of EXAMPLE.COM.
I need my root A and www A records to point to IPv4 adress "34.90.224.185".
In case there is an AAAA record for the root domain or for the "www.", please remove it.
Settings:
3600 IN A 34.90.224.185
www 3600 IN A 34.90.224.185
I'm sending you these template instructions since I would like to switch to Stylehub ecommerce platform (stylehub.com).
Thanks,
DNS Settings

0 issue "pki.goog" | SSL safety settings (optional) |
Please, remove the AAAA record of the root domain and the "www." subdomain if they exist.
Configuring a subdomain
In case, you would like your online store to run on a subdomain, e.g. "shop.example.com", you only need to point the A record of your "shop" subdomain name to our IP address.
Type | Name | Value | Description |
A |
shop | 34.90.224.185 | IPv4 record |
We recommend running your website and online shop together under one domain and avoid separating them. We also recommend integrating your shop functionality completely and do not separate your shop into a different section, under a "shop" link for example. Creating "Women", "Men" or "Products" - if necessary - navigation items instead of "Shop" usually results in better user experience (UX) and better search engine optimization (SEO).
Email template for subdomain setup
If you're not familiar with the DNS settings, you can simply copy & paste the following email template to your domain registrar / DNS provider, in most cases they will set it up for you or they will guide you through the process. Please, replace SHOP with your desired subdomain and SHOP.EXAMPLE.COM with your domain name (lowercase).
Dear Provider,

I need my "SHOP.EXAMPLE.COM" subdomain A record to point to IPv4 adress "34.90.224.185".

Timing
Our DNS and SSL management is automatic. We continuously monitor your DNS settings, therefore the change happens almost immediately on our side. However, the nature of the DNS, the Domain Name System may make you wait for more to see the change.
The domain change usually takes place within 25 minutes, after your DNS settings are applied. This may take more time depending on your domain/DNS provider.
You might experience latency in domain change and glitches due to the cache of your ISP, your operating system, or your web browser. DNS switching glitch is when you see your old website and your new website when you reload your domain multiple times.
If the change doesn't happen within 2 hours, feel free to contact our support.
SSL
Nowadays it is a requirement of any store to have its own SSL certificate, so it can operate over HTTPS and HTTP/2. After your DNS settings seem to be correct, our system automatically issues your certificate. We'll issue the certificate for your www. domain as well, and we automatically redirect from www. to non-www version.
WWW / Non-www
We automatically redirect your website visitors from your www. domain to the non-www version. These days, nobody types www before a domain, it looks less nice in the URL and it has no point.
