Price lists allow you to create and manage multiple currencies and volume discounts or create on sale pricing lists.
What is a price list?
The price list is created based on the currencies intended to be used in your store. If you would like to sell in Euros, Dollars, and Danish Krone you will need to set the prices in all of those currencies. This is what the price list allows you to do in the most simple and easiest way, so you could create multiple price lists for different regions.
With price lists you can:
- Schedule discounts
- Create and schedule seasonal prices
- Apply multi-channel selling
- Add multiple price lists for specific regions
Price List Settings
Example of creating a price list with multiple currencies and volume discount:
Type: Regular or On Sale.
Base pricelist: You can create an On Sale price lists by defining the base price list.
Name: You can create multiple price lists even for different regions and names can express that intention as well.
Currencies: It is possible to select any currency, however, the actual /currency of charge/ will depend on your payment solution provider.
Piece tiers: You can create volume discounts by defining the quantities here.
Price regions by channels: Your stores are listed here and you may add multiple pricing regions as well from your store settings. By default, we create a global region for you.
Scheduled regular pricelist: You can set up a time and date on which you would like to apply a different price list from the existing one.
On Sale pricelist: When you would like to roll out a discount, you simply need to add another price list on the top of the regular one. This setting will add another column to your respective regular price list and you can add the On Sale prices for your products.
Once you have added the currencies, you will be able to determine which currencies you would like to apply to your store. This feature allows you to have multiple stores with different currencies.
